Enable SMS and WhatsApp Verification in Forms

With the new phone verification feature, you can verify leads’ phone numbers directly within your form simple, fast, and secure.

📌 Benefits of Phone Verification via SMS/WhatsApp

  1. Higher Lead Quality
    Only real phone numbers are accepted — this protects you from spam and ensures you receive reliable contact information.

    Verification shows that you work professionally and care about security. This increases trust in your business.

  3. Automated Verification
    The code is automatically sent via SMS or WhatsApp. The user simply enters the code — fast, easy, and secure.


Requirements

This feature is only available in the Forms & Funnels: Expand plan.

The first 50 verifications per month are free. The counter resets every month (based on your billing cycle). After that, the following rates apply:

How to enable phone verification:

Step 1: Add a phone field to your form.


Click the gear icon (⚙️) on the phone field and activate the option "Phone Verification."


Step 2: Choose the verification method:

  1. Auto (system automatically chooses SMS or WhatsApp)

  2. SMS only

  3. WhatsApp only


Step 3: Select verification position:

  1. Inline (the code is requested directly within the form field)

  2. On Submit (verification takes place after form submission)


Step 4: Edit the content by clicking the pencil icon


Collect unverified leads

With the “Collect unverified leads” option enabled, form entries will also be saved even if the phone number hasn't been verified via SMS or WhatsApp. This way, you won’t lose potential contacts, even if the number is not confirmed.

This can be useful if you want to collect as many leads as possible, even though some numbers may be incorrect or invalid.



What does the visitor experience?

  1. The visitor enters their phone number.

  2. They receive a code via SMS or WhatsApp.

  3. They enter the code in the form.

⚠️ Important: The verification code is valid for 5 minutes.

Once the number is verified, a green confirmation checkmark appears next to the phone number field in the form.

In the CRM, the phone verification status is visible:

  • Phone number verified


Frequently asked questions and solutions

Is the text in the verification SMS editable?

The text in the SMS/WhatsApp message is not editable. There is no white-labeling option available for this.

Will the verification status also be available via the API?

The phone verification status is currently only displayed within our CRM.
