CRM Integration via Webhooks

Learn how to find the webhook in your CRM, connect it with external apps, and automatically transfer your lead data.

Written by Alina

With the Webhook integration in Onepage CRM, you can transfer your lead data to thousands of other applications in real time. This saves you manual copying and automates your entire workflow.

What is a webhook and what is it used for?

A webhook is basically a "digital notification." As soon as a new event occurs in Onepage CRM (for example, a new lead submits a form), Onepage automatically sends a data package to the URL you provided.

This is especially useful for connecting tools that don't have a direct, native integration. This way, you can automate your workflows without manual copying.

Examples of use:

  • CRM systems: Send your leads directly to systems like Salesforce, Pipedrive, or Zoho.

  • Databases: Automatically transfer data to Google Sheets or Airtable for further analysis.

  • Communication: Get notified instantly in Slack or Microsoft Teams when a new inquiry comes in.

  • Email marketing: Connect specialized providers or your own newsletter tools.

Where do you find the Webhook integration?

The setup is straightforward and done in just a few clicks:

Step 1: First, click on your desired project.

Step 2: Select the CRM menu item on the left side.

Step 3: Click on the plus sign in the top right corner – "Add Integration."

All available integrations will open; scroll to the very bottom and select Webhook.

Step 4: Now you can enter the URL of your target application and click Submit.

How to establish the connection

To use the integration, you need a webhook URL from the app that is supposed to receive the data.

  1. Create a new webhook receiver in your target tool (e.g., Slack, Salesforce, Google Sheets, your own CRM, or similar).

  2. Copy the generated URL.

  3. Paste this URL into the field in Onepage CRM.

  4. Once saved, the connection is active. Every time a lead lands in the CRM, it will immediately be "pushed" to the external app.

Useful information

  • Data format: Onepage sends the data in the standardized JSON format. Most modern tools can process this format without any problems.

  • Test run: We recommend filling out a test form on your page after setup. This allows you to ensure that the data arrives correctly in your external system.

  • Security: Treat your webhook URL like a password. In theory, anyone who knows this URL could send data to your system.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Does using webhooks cost extra?

The webhook interface is included in Onepage. However, please check whether your target tool (e.g., Salesforce or Google Cloud) charges fees for receiving data.

What data is transferred via the webhook?

All information entered by the lead in the form is transferred (e.g., name, email, phone number), as well as the timestamp and the source of the lead.

Can I use multiple webhooks at the same time?

Yes, you can store different webhooks for different workflows to send your data to multiple destinations simultaneously.

What do I do if no data arrives?

First, check if the stored URL is correct. The best way to test the connection is to fill out a form on your page yourself and see if the lead appears in the CRM and then in the target tool.
