This article shows how to connect Claude to Onepage via the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
MCP is the interface between Onepage and external AI assistants and makes it possible to manage pages, content, and website structures directly through these tools. You can find the detailed explanation of MCP in this article.
📌 Notes:
An active Onepage AI membership is required in the background to use the MCP feature.
When creating a Onepage website via MCP, no Onepage AI credits are consumed. Instead, you use the tokens of the respective AI tool (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor) that is connected to Onepage.
Connect Onepage with Claude (Step-by-Step Guide)
Step 1
Open Claude.
Step 2
Click on your profile in the bottom left corner and go to "Settings" → "Connectors". Then, click on "Customize".
Step 3
Click on the "+" symbol and select "Add custom connector".
Then, enter the following details:
Name: Onepage
Remote MCP Server URL: https://mcp.onepage.io/
Advanced settings: leave empty
Step 4
Now Onepage will appear in your connectors list.
Click on "Connect" and log in with your Onepage account.
Afterwards, you will be automatically redirected to Claude, where the following message will appear: "Claude wants to access your account."
Now click on "Allow".
Step 5
Click on "Always allow" and grant permission for all options.
This enables Claude to work with Onepage and independently create, edit, and manage websites.

Use modern layouts, smooth animations, glassmorphism elements, color gradients, hover effects, and responsive design. The style should feel elegant, futuristic, and conversion-optimized. Add placeholder texts and images where necessary, and make the website visually impressive and highly professional."

⚠️ Important: If you generate a page via the MCP workflow with Claude, the editor is only accessible via beta.onepage.io during the beta phase. The regular link app.onepage.io does not work in this case and may result in an infinite loading screen.
Please make sure to always use the beta link to open or edit your generated content.
What if something doesn't look perfect?
If a layout or text doesn't look exactly how you want it on the first try, don't worry! This is completely normal when working with AI. You don't need to fix it manually, you can simply tell your AI assistant what to change.
Example: If a headline is overlapping on your new page, you can type a follow-up prompt in Claude like this:
"Please fix the text 'Menschen hinter Nova Living'. The word 'Living' is overlapping with the text above it."
Claude's response:
"I see the issue: the headline is breaking into two lines and overlapping. I have adjusted the font size and spacing so it fits perfectly on one line, and added a rule so it looks great on mobile screens too. The fix is live!"
Note: Remember to reload your Onepage editor tab to see the AI's updates live on your page!
