What is a project
After logging in, you have the option to create your first project in Onepage. A project is a collection of different pages. This means that if you have a company (for example, "Your Domain"), you create a project for that company. You can then create multiple pages within that project.
The following pages are typical for your website:
Landing page (the main page where all your visitors land)
For example: www.yourdomain.comImprint, for example www.yourdomain.com/imprint (required by law in Germany, a generator such as e-recht24 can also be used to create it)
Privacy policy, for example www.yourdomain.com/privacy (required by law in Germany, a generator such as e-recht24 can also be used to create one)
In Onepage, you can create multiple pages in each project and then link them together. This allows you to create a main page with several subpages, which is the best way to structure a website.
Your project is assigned a domain that you can choose freely. Alternatively, you can also connect your own domain. Your homepage can then be accessed via the domain and your subpages via the corresponding domain with slug.
What is a landing page?
The landing page is the first page where all your traffic, i.e., your visitors, land. This is where Onepage's strength lies. All templates are graphically optimized so that you can build a high-conversion (high-sales) landing page.
The focus of a landing page is always on a CALL TO ACTION.
If you run a flower shop, for example, the call to action could be to contact you or place a pre-order. Once you have decided on a call to action, all buttons on your page should refer precisely to this call to action (for example: "Pre-order flowers now!").
From the landing page, you should not link to other pages, but always only to the call to action!
The most common call-to-actions on good landing pages:
Make an appointment now
Apply now for free
Download Ebook now
Register now for the webinar
Download free report
Watch free video series
Request analysis now
Try the product now
etc...
What is a website
A website describes your company's comprehensive online presence. The website consists of several subpages and therefore has a certain depth. Visitors can spend a long time on your pages! You can use the website if you want to describe your complex company.
📌 Note: When it comes to sales, it is important to always use a landing page! This has a clear focus and ensures that visitors do not get lost on one of the numerous subpages.
What is a page (subpage)
A page describes a small content page on Onepage where you share information on a specific topic. You can implement multiple pages on your landing page.
The most common pages are, for example:
About me/us
Our team
Services
References
Careers
Contact
Imprint
Privacy
etc.
