Welcome! In this article, we'll show you how to create a highly professional and conversion-strong landing page for your company or your customers.

🎬 At the end of the article, you'll find our latest video tutorials!

What is a project?

After logging in, you have the option to create your first project in Onepage. A project is a collection of different pages. This means that if you have a company (for example, "Your Domain"), you create a project for that company. You can then create multiple pages within that project.

The following pages are typical for your website:

1. Landing page (the main page where all your visitors land)

For example: www.yourdomain.com

2. Imprint, for example www.yourdomain.com/imprint (required by law in Germany, a generator such as e-recht24 can also be used to create it)

3. Privacy policy, for example www.yourdomain.com/privacy (required by law in Germany, a generator such as e-recht24 can also be used to create one)

In Onepage, you can create multiple pages in each project and then link them together. This allows you to create a main page with several subpages, which is the best way to structure a website.

Your project is assigned a domain that you can choose freely. Alternatively, you can also connect your own domain. Your homepage can then be accessed via the domain and your subpages via the corresponding domain with slug.

What is a landing page?

A landing page is a website designed for a specific online marketing campaign. It cannot usually be accessed via a website's normal homepage and navigation, but only via ads (whether Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Instagram Ads, etc.) or other online marketing measures that refer to this specific landing page.

The goal is to encourage visitors to take a specific action. This could be purchasing a product, downloading content such as e-books, or contacting the company (your CTA). The landing page therefore focuses exclusively on this one action, and visitors are not distracted by other subpages of the website.

A landing page is usually aimed at selling a product or generating leads.

The landing page is therefore the page where all your traffic, i.e. the visitors to your ad, land. This is where Onepage's strength lies. All templates are graphically optimized so that you can build a high-conversion landing page.

The command to act (call to action)

As just mentioned, the focus of a landing page is always on an ACTION INSTRUCTION (we also refer to this as a "call-to-action").

If you run a flower shop, the call to action could be to contact you or place a pre-order. Once you have decided on a call to action, all buttons on your page should refer to this call to action (for example: "Pre-order flowers now!").

Your first steps in Onepage

Step 1: Log in to your account

Log in to Onepage: Onepage Login

Step 2: Create your first project

After logging in, you can create your first project. To do this, go to the "Projects" tab and click on the blue "Create project" button.

Step 3: Select a template

You now have three options: start from scratch, have the website created using AI (this requires the "AI Assistant" add-on, minimum T1000), or use one of our templates.

You can, of course, customize all content in a template according to your preferences. However, the basic structure helps you to orient yourself.

Step 4: Assign project names

No matter which option you choose, the next step is to give your project a name. Choose a name that best reflects your project.

If your desired name is already taken, you will need to be a little creative.

Now you can start customizing your page!

Click on the elements you would like to customize. You will notice that Onepage has a very clean interface. This means you only see what you need to see.

This means that if you are looking for a function, just click through the elements. You will quickly know exactly where everything is, as Onepage has been designed to be very intuitive. If you are used to other page builders, you will quickly recognize the advantages and love Onepage.

Information for professionals: Many functions are being added gradually. At first, the very clean overview may seem a little too “bare” if you are used to customizing everything in detail yourself and inserting each element yourself.

Feel free to share your ideas and suggestions with us via support. We always welcome feedback!

Prevent simultaneous editing

A page cannot be edited in two tabs at the same time. If you try to open the page in a second tab while it is already being edited, you will see a message stating that the page is currently being edited.

In this case, you can close the other tab to regain access.

If you don't remember where the page is still open, you can unlock it using the "Force unlock" button.

⚠️ Important: If changes are still being made in the other tab, they will be lost. You will also receive the following message when unlocking:

"This will end the current editing session. Any unsaved changes by the active editor may be lost."

Even in shared projects (collaboration), it is possible that another person is currently working on the page. Therefore, always check first whether there are any changes still open in another tab before forcing the unlock. Only if you are sure that no data will be lost should you use this function, and even then with caution!
