The Facebook-Pixel works as an analysing tool that measures the effectiveness of your ads. The Facebook-Pixel is a short JavaScript-Code, tailored to your site that you may connect to all relevant sites of your funnels and landing page. To get the custom code just visit Facebook.

Before you get started

  • You must have an internet site for your company.

  • You must have a Onepage account.

  • You must have an account with the Facebook business manager.

Facebook Business Manager is a free of charge tool that was created by Facebook to help companies work through their administrative tasks concerning their sites, ad accounts, catalogues and their company’s pixel, simply and safely in one place.

Creating a Facebook-Pixel

  • Go to the Pixel tab in the Facebook Manager.

  • Click on "Pixel".

  • Once you open the tab click on "Create" to complete generating the Pixel.

You can now add the newly created Facebook-Pixel ID to your Onepage website.

Integrating the Pixel in Onepage

Log in to Onepage: Onepage Login and click on "Settings".

Then switch to the "Integrations" tab and enter your Facebook pixel ID in the "Facebook Pixel" field.

Then click on the blue "Save" button.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Why does the system automatically generate duplicate events even though they haven't been saved in Onepage yet, and how can I disable this?

Sometimes Meta automatically detects events. For example, if an event is set up at location A, Meta may automatically create the same event at location B. This results in duplicate data.

To check if this is happening, you can view the events in Meta Pixel Manager. In the event details, you will see cs_est: true.

This stands for "Client-Side Estimated". In other words, Meta estimates that an event has occurred based on button names or form structure, even if it wasn't manually configured.

To avoid duplicate or automatically estimated events, you can disable the "Track events automatically without code" option in Events Manager under RecordsSettings.

The pixel will then only track the events that have actually been defined and will stop guessing events.
