Introduction to server-side tracking
When you run Facebook ads, you want to take advantage of every opportunity to maximize your ad results. Setting up the Conversion API helps your business achieve significantly better results with your campaigns.
It helps you lower your CPAs through accurate tracking, give Meta algorithms better learning opportunities, and get more conversion data.
Conversion API is a server-side tool that links your website/landing page data to Facebook (Meta). The main difference between Pixel and CAPI is the way they transmit data.
With Pixel, Facebook collects the data directly, while CAPI sends the data directly from a server, a more advanced technology that solves many modern tracking problems.
Meta recommends implementing CAPI together with Pixel for optimal performance. So before you continue, make sure your Pixel is set up.
📌 Please note: Integration of the Conversion API (CAPI) is available with the Advanced plan.

Click on "Connect data" and select "Web".
