Understand & Use AI Credits

The AI Assistant uses credits as a digital currency. Every time you create something with the AI, credits are used.

Credits make the AI Assistant flexible to use and give you the ability to design your website exactly the way you want it.

Every use of the AI Assistant requires credits. The exception is the AI Writer.

To use the AI functions of Onepage, an AI plan: AI Assistant is required. Credits for the AI functions are not included in the main plan.

If you want to use AI, choose an AI plan that covers the amount of credits you need. You can upgrade to a larger AI plan at any time to get more credits. Individual credits cannot be purchased separately.

Credits can only be purchased through the AI plan. It is not possible to buy additional credits. However, if you need more credits, you can switch to a higher AI plan at any time.

With higher AI plans, the price per credit decreases. This means that the more credits included in the plan, the cheaper the credits are.

Unused credits do not expire, but are carried over to the next month. However, if they are not used in the following month, they will expire. This means that only the number of credits included in your AI plan can be carried over to the next month.

Credits carried over from the previous month are always used first, before credits from the current period are used.

Example: If you have 1000 credits in the first month and only use 500, the remaining 500 credits will be carried over to the next month. If you do not use any credits in the second month, only the maximum number of credits in the AI plan (e.g., 1000 credits) will be carried over to the third month, not the entire amount saved.

Credits expire completely when the AI plan is canceled.

AI plans generally run on a monthly basis, but are based on the term of your main plan. If you book the plan in the middle of the month, the credits will be calculated on a pro rata basis and will only be available for the remainder of the month.

Example: Your main plan runs from September 01 to September 30. You book the AI plan on September 15. In this case, the AI plan for the first month is also only valid until September 30 and is calculated on a pro-rata basis. This means that only half of the normal credits are available to you this month.

The process is similar to the monthly Forms & Funnel add-on.

In your profile under "Billing", you can see at any time how many credits you have used and how many are still available.

Yes. If you share a project with an editor and grant them editing permissions, they will be able to use your credits to generate content with the AI Assistant. If your account has no remaining credits, the editor will see a notification when attempting to start AI generation. This applies to all current and future editors with editing access.

Yes, this is theoretically possible. However, we always recommend using a main plan to connect your own domain to the website.
